Dear prayer partner,
During the last few weeks, fall set in, and it has gotten cold, but winter is very short here, praise the Lord! This past month, we did some door-to-door Soulwinning when the weather was favorable and had the opportunity to present the Gospel several times, along with getting a couple of contacts for a bible study. We have also seen consistent growth on Facebook and YouTube. Also, a few days ago, I had the opportunity to lead two men to Christ that found us on Facebook! We also enjoyed time with missionary Ricardo Portillo, a few hours north of here, for a weekend. He ordained a young man as pastor of a church he started, and we also visited another of his churches for a special day deep in the forest. It was a challenge to arrive driving on a muddy dirt road.
We pray that God will send us more laborers to serve here. I know it has not been popular for missionaries to work with others, but it is the biblical pattern. I also keep hearing success stories of churches growing extremely fast when they bring in more full-time staff. We desire to see God Glorified here and will do all we can to reach and train others to love God and His word! In the coming weeks, we will pick up my brother-in-law Pablo, and his family will join us full-time in July! To say we are excited to have them here is an understatement!
Finally, we have exciting plans to rent a facility to meet in, starting in August. We are praying for God's guidance to lead us to the right place. If you would like to be a part of equipping that space for church use, your support would be invaluable. There will be a significant upfront cost, and we are grateful that God has already provided a portion of it.
