Dear prayer partner,
July has been exciting. Pablo and Melani have moved to Posadas to serve full-time with us, and we had our family visit! Currently, they are staying at our apartment while we look for a home for them and us to rent. Here, rental homes are hard to get, but we trust God will provide shortly.
As the day draws nearer for our in-person services, we have been actively engaging in door-knocking. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, filling us with hope and encouragement! In just 6 hours of witnessing, we had the privilege to share the gospel message with over 20 people, and many made professions of faith! These individuals, along with many others, have expressed interest in visiting our church. Despite not having a meeting place yet, we are committed to door-knocking almost every day in the coming weeks, eagerly anticipating what God will do.
This month, with the invaluable assistance of Pablo and Melani, we've completed all the devotionals for the year! I'm now sharing a devotional three times a week on YouTube in Spanish, aiming to spread the truth and provide a learning resource for our new converts. We're focusing on the gospel and basic Bible truths. This milestone is a significant relief, as it allows us to shift our attention to other aspects of church establishment.
We are thrilled to announce that we are just a few weeks away from our first in-person service! We are currently in negotiations for the meeting place that God has graciously opened doors for. Please join us in prayer for this. If all goes well, we hope to have it rented during the first week of September, followed by our inaugural service shortly after. If anyone from your church is interested in joining us for a week of construction in September, please reach out to me at 319-499-7590 or, preferably, on my WhatsApp at +54 9 376-485-7649. The facility will require some interior walls to be built for classroom and office space, as well as the installation of sound, video, and security systems.
For His Service,
Benjamin and Bernice George
